IGA Midway

A busy IGA store located at Buronga, near Mildura on the New South Wales side of the border with Victoria has had Ezylink installed since opening 22 years ago.

IGA Midway store owner, Alesha Smith, established the business to be paperless and researched the best available technology to automate as much as possible the administration of the store.

With a GaP point of sale system in place, it was recommended to Alesha that Ezylink could link all the data from GaP into Xero and would greatly streamline processes.

Installation was easy for Alesha, most of the steps were talked through over the phone.  The codes used in Xero were matched for consistency with those used in GaP and Alesha was shown how to update codes in the back-end if new items needed to be included.

Alesha has found the back-end of Ezylink simple to use and has been able to add and re-code to different areas when needed. Subsequently, IGA Midway has had very little requirement for technology support with Ezylink over the past 22 years.

“It is great to be able to have control in the back end of Ezylink to change codes. If I create a new department in GaP (point of sale) I can do the same in Ezylink and have both codes set up and working straight away,” Alesha Smith said.

The simplicity of Ezylink and the ability to trouble-shoot and add codes when needed is the best feature of Ezylink for Alesha and IGA Midway.
