Pharmacy 777 Busselton

Kate Emery is an essential part of Pharmacy 777 at Busselton, having worked there as a dispensary assistant and bookkeeper for 27 years.

Despite not being one for change, Ms Emery welcomed the introduction of Ezylink into the Busselton pharmacy after learning of its substantial time-saving benefits.

An efficient and flexible solution for connecting POS and accounting systems

After years of manually entering point of sale (POS) or stock purchase data into the pharmacy’s accounting system, the team decided to look for a more efficient solution. In 2014, they had Ezylink installed to connect their Minfos POS system to their MYOB accounting program and haven’t looked back.

Ms Emery estimates Ezylink has saved her almost a day per week since no longer requiring the double entry of invoices. With Ezylink installed, it is now just a quick process of matching the invoice numbers to the statements on the screen in MYOB.

Ezylink also provides the flexibility to link POS data on a daily, weekly, or ad-hoc basis, allowing Ms Emery to reconcile invoices on a day of the week that is suitable for her and the business.

Easy installation and responsive tech support

Ms Emery said the process for installation was straightforward, and she has barely had to speak to tech support in the eight years the pharmacy has been using Ezylink. “If I have had a problem at our end, I’ve just emailed or phoned and someone has replied back to me straight away with an answer,” Ms Emery said.

An invaluable tool for pharmacies

Compared to retail stores of similar size, pharmacies generally have more invoices to process. Ezylink is an invaluable tool to significantly cut down time when reconciling invoices with point of sale data.
